Today the Orthodox Church celebrates Ninoaba, the feast of the name of St. Nino, the spreader of Christianity in Georgia.
St. Nino is commemorated twice a year:
January 14 (January 27, New Style) - death;
May 19 (June 1, New Style) - entry into Georgia.
